Pro Bono Work

Management Toolbox believes in sharing their knowledge and assisting the community where possible. We have done a range of pro-bono work supporting various charitable or not-for-profit organisations:

RNZSPCA

We facilitated a strategic planning workshop for the RNZSPCA in June 2010 to understand the vision for the SPCA and develop key objectives for achieving this. The outcome was a clear view of the priorities for the organisation and of the action that needed to be taken.

West Auckland Hospice

West Auckland Hospice came to us with a very specific goal and needed some assistance to understand what they needed to do to get there. The outcome of the working sessions has been a roadmap to significantly improve their ability to raise funds, enabling them to provide superior palliative care.

Child Cancer Foundation

We provided the Child Cancer Foundation with a review of their expenditure on print. The resulting Implementation Plan illustrated total cost of ownership savings of up to $38,000 annually.

Paralympics NZ Sponsorship

In 2004, Management Toolbox teamed up with Paralympics NZ to develop a sponsorship product. Management Toolbox investigated the cost savings available in various categories (i.e. print and telecommunications) for Mike Henry Insurance. Any savings realised were shared amongst the participants with Paralympics gaining enough benefit to fund the cost of getting a horse to Athens for one of its athletes!

Iwi – various

We have developed a full Strategic Roadmap with Nga Taonga o iwi Ngai Takoto. We are currently developing an Education Strategy for Runanga Nga iwi o Whangaroa. We are facilitating a new strategic direction programme for the Waitaruke Catholic Community, School, Hostel, Papa kaianga and marae.
